The Role



We are looking for a highly organized and detail-driven Production Planner to support our manufacturing and supply chain operations.

In this role, you will be responsible for balancing cost, risk and production priorities. This will involve maintaining our MRP system, ensuring critical components are purchased on time, and planning production orders to meet lead time requirements. You will play a key part in helping us deliver high-quality products on schedule in a fast-paced, innovation-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities



Maintain and continuously improve the accuracy of our MRP system to support efficient materials and production planning. Using sound commercial judgement to balance cost, risk and lead times when planning production and placing orders. Take full responsibility for material availability end to end and handling supplier issues directly, you'll be a hands-on problem solver. Monitor inventory levels of components and place orders with suppliers to ensure timely deliveries based on lead times and production needs. Plan and release production orders in alignment with sales forecasts, customer orders, and manufacturing capacity. Collaborate with R&D, contract manufacturers, and operations teams to ensure smooth transitions from prototype to full-scale production. Proactively manage supply constraints, component shortages, and delivery risks, especially for long-lead and high-risk items. Analyze production capacity, demand variability, and materials availability to optimize planning and scheduling, solving problems as required. Provide clear, data-driven planning updates and communicate changes to stakeholders in a timely manner, having identified how best to communicate with stakeholders. Support process improvements to increase planning accuracy, reduce waste, and enhance supply chain responsiveness. Work collaboratively with the team, pulling together to ensure we meet product deadlines together.

Experience/Skills



2+ years of experience in production planning or supply chain management, preferably in electronics manufacturing. Solid knowledge of MRP/ERP systems; experience with tools such as NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, or similar. Strong Excel skills and proficiency with data analysis and reporting. Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills. Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with shifting priorities. The proactivity to enable you to work with changing priorities, the need to create and deliver process improvements and build efficient systems for future growth. Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business, or a related field preferred.
