Production Planner

You will work within a team to plan orders through the factory/cells in an organised manner working closely with others to maintain a good workflow, supporting the department where needed, this may be through admin tasks or assisting plan areas during busy periods.




Responsibilities





Planning/Scheduling department on day to day basis. Assisting keeping shop floor schedules up to date. Giving lead times on new orders. Assisting the department/factory with day-to-day admin work. Maintaining stock levels to meet customer requirements. Monitor Late customer orders and prioritise workload for the factory. Assisting other production planners on a day to day. Communicate large orders to the factory to aid in resource planning. Work alongside factory supervisors to maximise efficiency and output. Liaise with factory supervisors to ensure daily demands are met.



Skills, Experience and Person Specification





Must have a strong level of computer skills. Good knowledge on Microsoft office (Especially Excel) Ability to be organised Ability to work to tight deadlines with a high level of accuracy Must be reliable, conscientious, and hard working Ability to work as part of a team Strong independent working skill level Strong communication skills Flexible and willing to take on a variety of tasks Good analytical skills
