What you'll be doing
Key Responsibilities
Assist in formulating planning strategies using planning software.
Monitor performance data and update working programmes.
Implement and maintain project controls and scheduling processes.
Produce planning reports and ensure compliance with planning procedures.
Identify and report schedule float and monitor work activity using KPIs.
Support team members and contribute to project and tender deliverables.
Analyse project data and KPIs to track progress and improve outcomes.
Manage production planning tasks including order handovers, acknowledgements, and reporting.
Create workstation plans and update production statistics.
Assist and deputise for the planning lead in meetings and reporting.
Who we're looking for
Skills, Knowledge & Experience required:
Skills:
Analytical and problem solving
Data and process management
Excellent communication and time management
Attention to detail and proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Experience with ERP/MRP systems (StruMIS or similar)
Knowledge:
Planning and project management tools (Excel, StruMIS, MS Project, Primavera P6, ASTA)
Manufacturing/steel fabrication planning and construction scheduling
Construction project phases and requirements
Tender and contract documentation
Experience:
Production planning and scheduling in metals manufacturing or similar sectors
Managing production plans and programmes
