Job Summary:



As a key member of the operations team, this role is responsible for planning and coordinating the seamless flow of stock from the initial point of order through to assembly, and finally to the delivery of finished products. By focusing on forward planning and proactive stock management, this position plays a critical role in increasing operational efficiency and minimizing production delays. Ensuring that all necessary components are available before production begins will help reduce unfinished stock builds, allowing the team to meet deadlines more consistently and maintain high standards of product delivery.

Responsibilities:



Ordering:

following purchase terms set up in the MRP system to order parts on-time. Moving into liaising with current and new suppliers to strengthen our supply chain.

Scheduling

: Once part ETAs are established, Manufacturing orders can be scheduled and assigned to workers via our MRP system. KPI's will be associated with how many weeks out we are accurately ordered, scheduled, and picked.

Customer Order Delivery

: Production will produce/pick & pack the order and inform you of shipping dimensions. Roughly 70% of our orders are exported, so after some training, you will be responsible for handling our export process. We ship between 5 and 10 customer orders a month.

About you:



Ideally experienced with MRP/ERP systems. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience in other office applications Attention to detail and a high level of organisation. Demonstrate a proactive approach, taking initiative in identifying and resolving issues, and continuously seeking improvements in the processes. Work effectively with other teams, communicating complex financial information clearly to non-financial colleagues. Comfortable on the phone and has an excellent phone manner. Uses this to build rapport with suppliers and team members. Passionate about driving the schedule to ensure lean, efficient production Able to prioritise tasks so that urgent requests don't stop the most important from happening ?- this is balanced in an emotionally intelligent way against our value of C - Customer Focused

Working Hours:

Either 08:00 - 16:30, 5 days a week or of 4.5 day working week with 06:30-16:00 working hours Monday to Thursday.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 30,000.00-35,000.00 per year
