Role Overview

UK Electronics is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Production Scheduler to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and maintaining production schedules to ensure optimal utilisation of resources, on-time delivery to customers, and continuous improvement of manufacturing operations.

This role is well suited to an individual with experience in production planning, supply chain coordination, and ERP-driven manufacturing environments, who is keen to contribute to a growing and dynamic business.

Key Responsibilities

Develop, maintain, and manage detailed production schedules using Sage 200 MRP. Convert customer purchase orders into clear, structured, and actionable manufacturing plans. Continuously review and adjust production schedules to reflect changing priorities, capacity constraints, and material availability. Work closely with procurement and manufacturing teams to ensure materials and resources are available to support planned production. Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of production plans, schedule changes, and related activities in line with company procedures. Support inventory management by forecasting material requirements based on production demand and schedules. Identify opportunities to improve scheduling efficiency, workflow, and overall production performance.
Skills and Experience

Proven experience in production planning or scheduling within a manufacturing environment. Experience using Sage 200 MRP is desirable but not essential; training can be provided. Mechanical knowledge or familiarity with assembly-based manufacturing processes is advantageous. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Analytical mindset with a structured and methodical approach to problem solving. Clear and effective communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments.
