The role
As a
Production Planner
, you'll have a role that's out of the ordinary. This is an exciting opportunity to develop your career in a high-profile team that values collaboration, precision, and innovation.
Day-to-day, you'll be at the heart of our submarine projects, supporting the planning and monitoring of engineering requirements throughout the production lifecycle. You'll work closely with senior planners and engineering teams to ensure timely delivery of critical equipment, helping to maintain the operational readiness of the Royal Navy fleet.
Supporting delivery and monitoring of all engineering requirements for submarine projects
Managing shop requirements as they emerge and reporting non-enablement issues
Tracking progress of equipment to identify potential delays and escalate promptly
Building strong, collaborative relationships with key stakeholders
Assisting with review meetings and departmental stand-up sessions to keep reporting accurate and up to date
This role is full time, 35 hours per week and is based on site at Devonport Royal Dockyard.
Essential experience of the Production Planner
Ability to engage effectively with internal and external stakeholders
Proactive approach with a desire to succeed and develop within a busy team
Competent in verbal and written communication
Experience with MS Excel for report creation and development
Knowledge of SAP and submarine systems preferred (training provided)
Qualifications for the Production Planner
ONC or NVQ Level 3 in engineering or a related discipline
Relevant experience in a similar role may be considered with supporting evidence

The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
