About the role





We are seeking a highly organised and proactive

Production Planner

to join our manufacturing team. In this key role, you will be responsible for planning, scheduling, and coordinating the production of finished goods to ensure smooth operations, efficient resource usage, and timely delivery.



You will work closely with the Production Manager, Purchasing Officer, IT & Supply Chain Data Manager and Technical team to maintain optimal stock levels, minimise disruptions, and support continuous improvement across production processes.



Key Responsibilities


Plan, schedule, and coordinate the production of finished goods. Evaluate raw materials and equipment needs, liaising with the Purchasing Officer to ensure availability. Collaborate with the Production Manager to ensure adequate resources are in place for production. Monitor production budgets to ensure processes remain cost-effective. Identify and resolve production disruptions and productivity issues, escalating concerns to management as required. Analyse market forecasts and manage safety stock levels to support demand planning. Produce and distribute reports for management decision-making. Work with the technical team to support existing products and new product development projects. Maintain the product portfolio and ensure product profiles are accurate and up to date. Handle filing, documentation, and record keeping to company standards. Execute operations in line with SAGE system compliance. Undertake additional duties assigned by the Management Team to support daily factory operations (full training provided).

Strong organisational and planning skills Excellent communication and teamwork abilities Proactive problem-solver with attention to detail Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines Experience with production planning or manufacturing operations is preferred Familiarity with SAGE or similar systems is an advantage
