Role Summary:
The Production Process Operative will be hands-on and practical, working in a busy manufacturing environment across several different product/production lines as required, providing day-to-day manufacturing support whilst ensuring that all products meet the company's defined quality standard.
Responsibilities:
To actively participate and provide support across all manufacturing processes
Support in the Introduction of New Products or Processes into the organisation in a timely and cost-effective manner
Support structured problem-solving projects linked to day-to-day manufacturing issues
To actively promote a safe work environment and to support the H&S officer
To effectively maintain production schedules, reporting to the line manager
To continually drive towards meeting or exceeding KPIs by finding ways to improve productivity and maintain quality, reduce process driven waste, scrap and rework, improve stock control and maintain excellent records.
Support existing and implement new continuous improvement activities.
Support Implementation of any changes to products or processes
To follow Standard Operating Procedures to support manufacturing processes.
o ensure that customer requirements are met
To effectively communicate with production teams, senior management team, suppliers and other stakeholders.
Compliance with Environmental, Health & Safety and Legislation and Company's Policies and Standards
Candidate requirements:
Dexterity, accuracy and attention to detail are essential
Hardworking, reliable and committed with exemplary work ethic
Capable of maintaining focus and efficiency with repetitive work for long periods of time
Preferably assembly line, soldering, machining, toolmaking experience
Excellent organisational and time management skills
Computer skills preferable
Excellent communication skills, teamwork and a can-do attitude
Committed to meeting the company's mission, aims and objectives
