We're now hiring a

Production Scientist I

to join our dynamic lab team at

The Native Antigen Company

in Oxford. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about rapidly growing their hands-on lab experience in a collaborative, passionate environment.

What you'll do




In this role, you'll contribute to the preparation and production of vital biological materials used in diagnostics. You'll gain training across a range of techniques and play a key role in supporting the quality and reliability of our products.


Your day-to-day work will include:

Producing and purifying recombinant proteins, viruses, and bacteria at scale. Performing plasmid cloning and bulk production. Ali-quoting materials for storage and distribution. Running QC assays to ensure quality standards are met. Maintaining accurate stock records and updating internal databases. Supporting general lab operations and receiving deliveries.

Full training will be provided to help you build confidence across all areas.

Qualifications

What you'll bring




We're looking for someone who's practical, curious, and ready to be part of a busy lab team. You'll enjoy working with precision and learning new techniques.


To succeed in our team, you'll need:

A degree in a science-related subject or equivalent lab experience. A strong interest in diagnostics, life sciences, or manufacturing. Good attention to detail and a willingness to follow SOPs. A collaborative, adaptable approach and a desire to develop professionally.
