The Role

As

Shift Manager

, you will lead and drive performance across your shift in a cost-effective and efficient manner. Reporting to the

Production Manager

, you will have the autonomy to make a meaningful impact on business growth. This role operates on a

dayshift/backshift rotation (5 days over 7).

Key Responsibilities

? Develop and implement production processes, adjusting as needed.

? Plan ahead, anticipate challenges, and provide solutions to meet production timelines.

? Oversee factory operations during shifts, ensuring smooth production.

? Monitor standards and escalate unresolved issues to the

Site Manager

.

? Reduce waste and optimize cost efficiency in production.

? Analyse performance data to drive improvements.

? Lead staff training and development.

? Manage personnel tasks, including annual leave approvals and appraisals.

? Ensure a safe working environment, collaborating with the

Health & Safety Manager

.
