Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Production Supervisor to oversee our Production operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that the production plan is achieved on a daily basis while maintaining high standards of quality and safety. This role requires strong management/ leadership skills and a solid understanding of manufacturing processes, as well as the ability to work effectively and efficiently with a team in a fast-paced environment.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

Supervise daily production activities, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to the production plan. Train, mentor, and evaluate production staff to enhance their skills and performance. Monitor production processes and equipment to ensure optimal operation and safety compliance. Collaborate with other departments to coordinate production schedules and resolve any issues that may potentially arise. Maintain accurate records of production metrics, reporting on performance against targets. Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce waste.

Experience

Proven experience in a supervisory role within a manufacturing environment is essential. Experience of supervising and motivating c. 30 operatives over several assembly lines. Able to evidence team development processes to improve team and individual performance Strong mechanical knowledge desirable with the ability to operate hand tools and power tools effectively. Experience in assembly processes is highly desirable. Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead a diverse and multigenerational team effectively. Pay: From 14.27 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 38 per week
