Role Summary
We are seeking an experienced and motivated
Evening Shift Production Supervisor
to lead our manufacturing team and ensure efficient, high-quality production output during late shifts. You will be responsible for coordinating staff, overseeing workflow, maintaining safety and quality standards, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives. This is a hands-on leadership role ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced production environment and values teamwork, precision, and accountability.
Shift Details
Standard Shift:
Monday to Friday, 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM
Integration Period:
Initial 6-week day shift shadowing (7:30 AM - 4:00 PM) for onboarding and training.
Flexibility:
Occasional overtime or schedule adjustment may be required to meet production demands.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise evening production operations to ensure targets for quality, efficiency, and output are achieved.
Lead and support production team members, ensuring tasks are clearly communicated and executed safely.
Coordinate with the Production Manager and other supervisors to align workflow and priorities across shifts.
Monitor equipment performance, troubleshoot issues, and escalate maintenance needs promptly.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment in line with company H&S policies and 5S standards.
Conduct quality checks and ensure documentation and production records are accurate and complete.
Support training and development of team members to promote skill growth and operational excellence.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, efficiency, and waste reduction.
Qualifications & ExperienceEssential:
Previous experience in a production or manufacturing supervisory role.
Strong understanding of production processes, safety standards, and quality control.
Forklift License
Proven ability to lead and motivate a team in a dynamic environment.
Excellent communication, organisation, and problem-solving skills.
Competence in using production tracking or ERP systems.
Desirable:
Experience within machine shop / assembly environments, acoustic products, or similar manufacturing industries.
Knowledge of Lean, 5S, or continuous improvement methodologies.
