Production Supervisor

to lead a team of Production Assistants and support the Production Manager in delivering smooth, efficient operations.

As Production Supervisor, you'll be the go-to person on the shop floor--coordinating daily tasks, supporting your team, and ensuring production targets are met. You'll play a key role in maintaining quality, safety, and team morale while reporting directly to the Production Manager.

This role requires strong leadership skills, composite door manufacturing and Pvcu manufacturing knowledge are a must, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. The Production Supervisor will play a crucial role in managing the production team and coordinating activities to achieve operational efficiency.

Duties

Supervise daily production activities, ensuring adherence to schedules and quality standards. Train, mentor, and evaluate production staff, fostering a collaborative team environment. Monitor equipment performance and conduct regular inspections to ensure optimal operation. Utilise hand tools and power tools for assembly tasks as required. Maintain a clean and safe working environment in compliance with health and safety regulations. Collaborate with other departments, including quality control and logistics, to streamline processes. Identify areas for improvement in production efficiency and implement necessary changes.

Qualifications

Proven experience in a supervisory role within a manufacturing or warehouse environment. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively. Proficient in using machinery, hand tools and power tools for assembly and maintenance tasks. Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead and motivate a diverse team. Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in managing production workflows. Ability to work flexible hours as needed to meet production demands.

Pay: 14.50-15.25 per hour
