Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Production Supervisor to oversee our manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and have a hands-on approach to managing production processes. This role is crucial in ensuring that production targets are met while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.

Duties

Supervise and coordinate daily production activities to ensure efficient workflow. Monitor the performance of production staff, providing guidance and support as needed. Conduct regular inspections of equipment and machinery, ensuring they are maintained in good working order. Implement and enforce safety protocols to create a safe working environment for all employees. Collaborate with other departments to optimise production schedules and resolve any issues that may arise. Train new employees on proper use of hand tools, power tools, and assembly techniques. Maintain accurate records of production output, quality control measures, and employee performance.

Requirements

Proven experience in a supervisory role within a manufacturing or warehouse environment. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively. Proficient in the use of hand tools and power tools relevant to the production process. Experience in assembly processes is highly desirable. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively lead a team. Pay: 15.00-17.00 per hour
