Job Description

An exciting position is now available within the assembly and manufacturing team for a Production Supervisor producing Roller Banners, Pop Up Stands, Exhibition Stands and other printed portable display products in the fast-paced Exhibition Industry.

You must be a hard-working, diligent leader with a strong work ethic. A fantastic eye for detail and a passion for quality are a must.

A positive 'can do' attitude is essential. You will be responsible for a small team with the ability to also work under pressure to achieve challenging customer and production deadlines whilst adhering to strict quality standards and manufacturing procedures.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Leading & motivating the team Planning & co-ordinating all production activities ensuring a smooth workflow and production targets are met Managing Team performance Training and Development within the team Liaising with other departments Preparation of work area for daily production Trimming Large Format printed artwork to size Assembling Roller Banners, Pop Up Stands and Exhibition Stand products Achieve set product production times Preparation of products for quality inspection Complete production tracking paperwork and documentation Packaging and shipping label completion for customers' orders Monitor equipment and report any issues for maintenance Complete monthly stock checks Maintain a clean and safe work area throughout shift Perform daily close down and preparation for the next business day

REQUIREMENTS:

Leadership with the ability to motivate, guide and manage a team effectively Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) Problem-Solving Time Management Physically fit and able to undergo manual work Attention to detail and passion to do a good job Fast learner and ability to adapt to daily challenges Ability to work under pressure Previous experience within the print industry would be an advantage
This role is based in Peterborough at our print and production facility. This full-time position with working hours of 8 am - 5 pm Monday to Friday but may vary due to customer workflow. Overtime may be required during busy periods and you must be prepared to be flexible.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 30,000.00-40,000.00 per year
