To co-ordinate activities and requirements of the production area through acting as first point of contact and liaison for all HF production related staff in regards to dealing with and resolving issues and ensuring the efficient and effective running of the line.
Ensuring that all paperwork, processes and procedures are followed and adhered to at all times..
Key Responsibilities
The duties of this role include, but are not limited to:
Set up and prepare production lines for an efficient start, including machine build-up.
Ensure safe operation of machinery throughout the shift.
Motivate and lead your team to maintain a positive and productive work environment.
Work closely with the Shift Manager to optimise team utilization.
Oversee quality control, ensuring all products meet customer specifications.
Complete required paperwork, including pre-operation checks and product changeovers.
Identify and implement process improvements.
Troubleshoot operational challenges, including staffing and stock control.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Product Quality: Ensure all products meet sealing, labelling, packaging, and weight standards.
Line Efficiency: Maximise production output and minimize downtime.
Team Development: Support, train, and coach team members.
Compliance: Maintain accurate paperwork and adhere to health & safety regulations.
Communication: Ensure strong coordination with all relevant departments
Comply with Company Policy to ensure that adhered on all matters concerning Health and Safety, reporting any breaches as appropriate.
Any other relevant duties required by Management or the Company.
Previous experience in a supervisory role
Experience working within a manufacturing environment
Skill/ Knowledge
Good interpersonal skills, with attention to detail
Ability to set up and optimise production processes, including stock, packaging, and labour
Knowledge of the food manufacturing industry
