Due to expansion, we are pleased to announce that we are looking to hire for the position of production supervisor within our Production department.

This role is to improve productivity, quality, safety, and employee awareness training.

The candidate will be able to demonstrate the following:

- Proven track record in a fast-paced production environment

- Ability to manage small and large teams

- Leadership qualities

- Good understanding of production processes

- Good interpersonal skills, both within their team and management

- Able to work well under pressure

- SOP Creation and updating

- Take ownership for quality and safety within their remit

- Fill in for the Production manager as and when required

- Good understanding of Microsoft packages e.g. Excel , SharePoint etc

- Induction processes for new staff

-Training of staff in new processes

- Maintaining the staff skills matrix alongside compliance manager

-Promote near miss reporting and H&S culture

- An ambassador of health and safety

- Abiding by the health and safety, environmental and quality policies

- Assisting in the creation of risk assessments

- Ensure good levels of housekeeping are maintained

- Implementation of 5s and auditing

- To be trained and engaged in 5s projects

- To ensure production productivity

- To coach staff on production and different learnings

- Identify engineering work requests and fill in the relevant cards

- Lead by example in terms of Good Manufacturing Practices
