Currently, an excellent opportunity has arisen for a Production supervisor to join our well-established company. This position - based in Throsk - offers an excellent opportunity for a self-motivated individual to really hit the ground running in a progressive company and to develop an exciting career. The Role:



This is a pivotal role in an extremely fast paced environment, supervising the day to day running of the production unit, and motivating staff to achieve targets and objectives.

This role requires someone driven and ambitious in order to take things forward.

Reporting directly to the Operations Supervisor you will be responsible for:

Set daily/weekly/monthly objectives and communicate them to employees

Ensure Cross Healthcare and customer stock is processed in a timely manner, and within given targets.

Organise workflow by assigning responsibilities and preparing schedules

Check production output according to specifications

Identify issues in efficiency and suggest improvements

Responsible for managing the control of component stock holding

Maintaining spreadsheets with customer and product KPIs

Ensure compliance to GMP and SOPs in all aspects of Production.

Coordinating with the Quality Team and Qualified Persons to maintain/improve standards.

Ensure all documentation is completed correctly and in real time and filed/issued appropriately.

Providing ongoing support and assistance to all production staff.

Ensuring Safe Systems of work are adhered to, SOPs followed, and appropriate standards of professional behaviour are maintained.

What we are looking for:



We are looking for someone who is computer literate, thinks ahead, and works well under pressure where targets are present. You will be able to manage yours and others time effectively and always be willing to go the extra mile.

This is a busy role and experience would be beneficial - ideally from a pharmaceutical background or alternatively food/consumer goods. It is preferred that you have up to date knowledge of working within a controlled GDP environment. Candidates will also need to display strong people supervisory experience and have the ability to build strong relationships across the business.

Be a driven team player. Organised, methodical and have good attention to detail.

Salary dependent on experience

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 27,000.00 per year
