Listers Central Ltd. are the fastest growing UK manufacturer of PVC and Aluminium windows and doors, based in Fenton, Stoke-on-Trent Listers. We have been making windows in Fenton for over 30 years!

We are now looking for an experienced

Production Supervisor

to join our team.

In this role, you will lead and coordinate day-to-day operations on the factory floor, ensuring the efficient, safe, and high-quality manufacture of PVC windows and doors. The Production Supervisor plays a key role in motivating production staff, meeting output targets, maintaining highest quality standards of our products. You will also help the team maintain high level of housekeeping and H&S standards, while supporting the team's continuous improvement.

Ideal candidates will have previous experience in Supervisory position within manufacturing (ideally window/door industry but other backgrounds will be considered).

Operational Oversight

Supervise daily manufacturing activities to meet production schedules Monitor output levels, cycle times, and waste, ensuring targets are achieved Coordinate labour and equipment availability for smooth workflow Ensure adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs) and quality standards

Team Leadership

Lead, motivate, and support a team of operatives across production lines Allocate tasks, manage breaks and monitor attendance/performance Train and coach team members, ensuring skill levels meet operational needs Conduct regular briefings to share targets, updates, and performance feedback

Quality & Compliance

Conduct in-process and final inspections to maintain product quality Ensure all production meets specifications and internal quality standards Highlight, address and escalate recurring issues when needed Complete and maintain accurate production and compliance records

Health & Safety & Maintenance

Enforce H&S procedures and ensure safe working practices are followed at all times Conduct basic machine checks and report issues promptly Collaborate with maintenance team to minimise downtime Ensure area cleanliness and adherence to housekeeping expectations

Continuous Improvement

Suggest and support improvement initiatives (process, workflow, waste reduction) Participate in root cause analysis and corrective action activities

Required Skills & Experience

Previous supervisory or team lead experience in a manufacturing environment Experience in PVC fabrication or window/door manufacturing (essential) Reliable with pro-active attitude Strong people management and communication skills Organised, proactive, and target-driven Good understanding of H&S and quality standards

Additional Comments

Understanding of PVC window/door construction and components would be highly advantageous.

Previous background of working with pvc or other welders, saws or cleaners - highly advantageous.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 30,000.00-34,000.00 per year
