As a

Production Supervisor

, you will play a key role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of our bakery production line. Reporting to the Production Manager, you will supervise the production team, ensuring efficiency and quality in all stages of the process. You will also maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene while actively participating in production tasks alongside the team.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead, manage, and motivate the production team to meet daily production targets. Work alongside the team in production, actively participating in daily tasks to ensure smooth workflow. Ensure all products meet the company's high-quality standards and food safety regulations. Maintain and enforce cleanliness and hygiene standards in line with UK food safety regulations. Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in production processes to increase efficiency. Monitor production performance and report any issues to the Production Manager. Train and develop production staff to enhance skills and ensure consistent performance. Identify and troubleshoot production issues, collaborating with the Production Manager to implement solutions. Ensure all machinery and equipment are well maintained and report any technical issues promptly to the production manager.

Desirable requirements:

Proven experience working in a production environment within a bakery or food manufacturing setting. Strong leadership skills with the ability to lead by example and inspire a team. Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities. Strong understanding of food hygiene and quality control. Ability to work under pressure and meet production deadlines. Hands-on approach, willing to work as part of the team in production. Good communication skills and the ability to foster a positive working environment.
