Job Summary

We are seeking skilled and motivated

Finishers / Deburrers

to join our precision engineering team. The successful candidates will be responsible for finishing high-quality component parts to exact customer specifications, ensuring compliance with AS9100 standards, and supporting Moyola's reputation for excellence in precision manufacturing. This role offers the opportunity to develop technical finishing skills in a high-performance engineering environment with strong focus on quality, teamwork, and continuous improvement.

Duties

Efficiently

finish and prepare component parts

to meet customer specifications and quality standards. Perform

maintenance and repair work

on tools and finishing equipment as required. Work collaboratively with your line manager and colleagues to achieve

right-first-time, zero-defect quality

. Ensure all finishing, packaging, and despatch activities are completed in full compliance with

AS9100 and ISO

quality requirements. Collaborate with the

deburring team

to maintain and enhance consistent finishing practices. Continue to

develop skill competencies

and become proficient across all classes of work within the finishing department. Work

rotational shifts, overtime, and flexible hours

as required by the company. Comply with all company

Health & Safety, environmental, and operational policies

. Actively participate in

training and development programmes

, both on and off site. Contribute to

continuous improvement initiatives

, identifying and implementing opportunities for process efficiency. Work collaboratively and creatively with colleagues to meet customer and company objectives. Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas to company standards, ensuring cleanliness, safety, and operational reliability. Travel to customer premises if required to support business needs. within the company. Undertake any additional duties as required, commensurate with your skills and competencies. Fully comply with all

Skills

Excellent attention to detail with a strong commitment to product quality and precision. Good manual dexterity and ability to work with small components and fine tolerances. Reliable, motivated, and team-oriented approach to work. Understanding of Health & Safety and quality control procedures. Willingness to learn and adapt to new finishing techniques and equipment. Effective communication and collaboration skills.
