We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Production Lead. You will act as a link between the supervisors and production staff providing immediate hands on leadership and supervision ensuring maximum effort and attention to detail in a safe and tidy environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising production teams, ensuring quality standards are met, and maintaining efficient workflow. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with strong technical skills and leadership qualities to contribute to a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Duties

Supervise daily production activities, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and quality standards Coordinate with team members to meet production targets and deadlines Assist in the training and mentoring of new staff members Conduct regular inspections of machinery and equipment to identify maintenance needs Maintain accurate production records and report on progress to management Implement continuous improvement initiatives to optimise productivity and minimise waste

Skills

Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively Experience in food production. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to lead a team efficiently Good communication skills to coordinate with team members and management Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment whilst maintaining attention to detail

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 13.94-15.19 per hour

Expected hours: 38 - 45 per week
