Production Team Leader - 40 hours

As a Production Team Leader, you will be responsible for producing food products to defined safety, legal and quality standards with maximum efficiency and minimum waste. This is a

hands-on

role that requires mechanical knowledge and the ability to work with various tools and equipment. All training is provided.

The rate of pay is

14.30 per hour, 571.93 per week, 229,740 per year

plus opportunities for over time ,

paid weekly (shift allowance included).

Duties:

Assisting the Senior Team Leader in achieving the production plan. Assisting in the training of production staff. Ensuring that all company requirements for weight are always maintained. Ensuring factory and personal hygiene standards are always maintained. Maintenance of good manufacturing practice standards always. Maintenance and supervision of high/low care segregation. To report serious food safety, quality, and maintenance issues immediately to the senior team leader.

Key Results Areas

The daily production plan is achieved. All products are produced to specification and no non-conforming products. All staff are adhering to personal hygiene standards.

Ad-Hoc Responsibilities

Maintain strong communication links with other departments & factory management. Undertake informal auditing of GMP & Health and safety practices and promote high standards with staff. To quarantine any non-conforming product. To process and complete orders on time in full. To train and deal with any staff issues when required.

Requirements:

Basic maths skills for measuring, counting, and calculating Ability to handle materials safely and efficiently Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
