Pecan Deluxe Candy (Europe) Company Ltd is a wholesale confectionery and bakery Company supplying hundreds of businesses worldwide. We are a small family-owned Company, passionate about providing bespoke tailor-made products and we are proud that our clients include numerous well-known ice cream brands. Our range of products include cookie dough, moulded chocolate, fudge, sauces, caramelised nuts, brownies and sponge cake pieces.

In order to continue to support the business and our long-term strategic plans for future growth, we are looking to recruit additional Team Leaders to work within our production team based from our busy factory on the Sherburn in Elmet industrial estate.

Working across all our manufacturing departments, you will be responsible for checking the production equipment and machinery is set up correctly, run efficiently and cleaned in line with the production plan. You will lead, motivate and support colleagues to make sure food safety and quality standards are met to a high standard and ensure that our teams of Production Operatives work at all times in a safe manner.

We are looking for individuals that can demonstrate their commitment to putting quality first at all times and who have developed their knowledge, skills and experience in previous roles within a food manufacturing environment.

As part of your training, you will be required to complete training on relevant operating procedures, Food Safety, HACCP, Chemical and Health & Safety. In addition to this, you must be willing to undertake and learn additional skills including First Aid at Work and Fire Marshall.

Our working hours are Monday to Friday, 8 hour shifts = 40 hours per week at 15.40 per hour.

We operate on a three-week rotation basis 6.00am - 2.00pm, 2.00pm to 10.00pm and 10.00pm - 6.00am and you must be available to work all rotating shift patterns.

Voluntary Overtime - is available after 40 hours at 1.5 rate and 2.0 rate after 48 hours worked.
