Overview:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Production Team Leader at Ehrmann Cornish Dairy. Reporting to the Production Shift Manager(s), this role will have full operational responsibility for the Production site. They will work with the Production Operators to deliver peak performance and drive trust, respect and honesty through a culture change.

Main duties:
Ensuring all activities undertaken within the team comply with Health & Safety policy and procedures
Delivery of daily briefings to production team as per schedule.
Driving quality standards onsite ensuring Production Operators are aware and adhere to required standards.
Working with the Production Shift Manager to establish Key Performance Indicators (KPI's); resolving and escalating problems; reporting results to the Dairy Manager
Coaching the Production Operators on site GMP standards and ensure they are monitored and maintained. Ensure outstanding actions from GMP audits are closed out with engagement of the wider team.
Working with Production Operators to resource hygiene tasks against current schedule and ensure paperwork is completed.
Ensure training is delivered in the appropriate style for the trainee. All training records are maintained in an audit ready standard.
Implementing Lean Manufacturing principles and techniques:-Proactively manage/facilitate continuous improvement activities-Using Gemba boards to communicate and engage teams.-Contributing to the improvement of the production process and factory layout
Being responsible for departmental performance against agreed KPI's; Safety, People, Quality and Cost.
Developing good working relationships with other teams / departments and proactively resolve any issues/queries associated with the team
Undertaking any reasonable activities, projects on an ad hoc basis as requested by Production Shift Manager & Dairy Manager.
Deputising in the absence of other Team Leaders and/or Production Shift Manager.

Strong problem-solving skills
Experienced in process improvement within a FMCG or dairy environment
Proficient in data analysis tools and Microsoft Office (Excel essential)
A proactive individual with excellent communication and organisational skills
Someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can manage multiple priorities
