This is an afternoon / evening shift role - 12.30pm - 9.30pm
The production facility at Mademoiselle Desserts Maidenhead is responsible for producing frozen desserts. The Production Team Leader will provide oversight ensuring that production is kept in line with the weekly plan, ensuring quality, cost, GMP and health and safety standards are met at all times.
The post holder will be expected to manage their continuous professional development keeping abreast of Health and Safety issues, good practice and manufacturing standards.
Principal Accountabilities
Plan, organise and measure resources to ensure that targets for production are met within set parameters.
Ensure that all production activity meets both internal company standards and external regulatory requirements with respect to health, safety, to ensure the company's obligations and policies in these areas are fully complied with.
Keep down time and material wastage within a set standard.
Work with Production Managers to deliver continuous improvement and PIE projects within your area
Assist with the day to day HR processes including RTW and Holiday Control

ILM Level 3 Diploma in Leadership and Management
IOSH Managing Safely
Level 3 Food Hygiene
Lean Training
COSHH Certificate
Good Manufacturing Processes (GMP)
Allergen Awareness
Skills and Knowledge
People Management Skills
IT Literate
Excellent communications skills both written and verbal
Good working knowledge of food manufacturing specifically frozen desserts
Understanding and experience of undertaking external audits and inspections i.e. BRC
Excellent time management
