Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Production Lead to oversee our manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating production activities, ensuring quality standards are met, and leading a team of production workers. This role requires a strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

Supervise daily production activities and ensure adherence to safety and quality standards. Assemble products using hand tools and power tools, ensuring precision and efficiency. Train and mentor team members on best practices in production processes and equipment usage. Maintain an organised warehouse environment, ensuring that tools and materials are readily available for production needs. Conduct regular inspections of machinery and equipment to identify maintenance needs or safety hazards. Collaborate with management to implement process improvements that enhance productivity and reduce waste.

Skills

Proficient in the use of hand tools and power tools essential for assembly tasks. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively. Previous experience in a warehouse or manufacturing setting is advantageous. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team towards achieving production goals. Strong attention to detail, ensuring that all products meet quality specifications before dispatch.
