Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Production Lead to oversee daily manufacturing operations within our facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising production teams, ensuring quality standards, and maintaining efficient workflow. Responsibilities

Lead and coordinate the activities of production teams to meet daily targets and quality standards Supervise the assembly process, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and operational procedures Utilise hand tools and power tools to assist with assembly, repairs, and adjustments as required Monitor workflow and resolve any production issues promptly to minimise downtime Conduct regular inspections of equipment and work areas to uphold safety and cleanliness standards Train new team members on operational procedures, safety practices, and equipment use Collaborate with maintenance teams to schedule repairs and preventative maintenance programmes Maintain accurate production records and report on progress to management

Requirements

Proven experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment, with previous leadership responsibilities preferred Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively Experience in assembly processes within a manufacturing or warehouse setting Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks efficiently Good communication skills, capable of motivating team members and liaising effectively across departments Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Basic understanding of health and safety regulations relevant to manufacturing operations
