Production Team Leader

to join our experienced team. If you have a solid track record in leading people, optimising machinery/process performance, and championing safety, we'd love to hear from you.


This role is worked on a Rotating shift pattern- Monday-Thursday 06:00-15:00, Friday 06:00-12:00 and Monday-Thursday 14:30-23:30, Friday 11:30-17:30




What You'll Be Doing





Reporting to our Operations Manager, you'll take responsibility for a cell of 10 operators as part of a wider 20-person production team. With a clear focus on output, quality, and EHS standards, you'll lead from the shop floor to ensure safe and effective production every shift.



Key responsibilities include:


Leading and motivating your team to hit performance and quality KPIs Ensuring all health, safety and environmental compliance is met Coordinating shift handovers, toolbox talks and team briefings Managing training, absence cover, return-to-work and holidays Supporting the delivery of 6S and continuous improvement initiatives Collaborating closely with fellow Team Leaders, Maintenance and the wider Ops team

What We're Looking For





This is a factory-based role in a traditional, manually operated process environment- we are looking from someone with a safety first attitude and a flexible approach to work. The successful candidate will bring:


Essential:




Proven experience in a similar manufacturing/production environment Strong leadership and people management skills Experience managing both machinery and team performance Knowledge of KPI tracking and continuous improvement principles Excellent communication, decision-making and problem-solving abilities Solid understanding of health & safety regulations and best practices Competency using Microsoft Office and production systems

Desirable:




FLT licence (or willing to train) First Aid or Fire Marshal trained (or willing to train)
