Job Overview

Jered - Marine system Technology, a PAR Company, focuses on providing global naval marine customers with complex naval marine door systems, hatches and cutting-edge fire-resistant panel systems.

The Production Team Leader Co-ordinates all the shop floor operations providing hands-on support and direction to the team.

Responsibilities include

Lead and organise the team within a production environment and off-site working. Assessing performance, providing feedback and relevant training. Ensure compliance with established company and regulatory guidelines Ensure quality, efficient and economical performance meeting goals and objectives Conduct regular inspections of equipment and tools to maintain optimal functionality. Maintain a clean and organised work environment in accordance with health and safety regulations. Assist in troubleshooting mechanical issues as they arise during production.

Requirements include

Proven mechanical knowledge (ideally 5 years) with hands-on experience in a fabrication manufacturing or engineering setting. Supervisory experience in a quality-controlled, regulated manufacturing environment Strong planning and people management, leadership and communication skills Level 3 Engineering qualification (or equivalent) Ability to understand and interpret engineering drawings Good Microsoft Office skills Flexibility to work overtime as and when required
This is a full time on-site position based in Winsford with working hours of:

Monday to Thursday 07.30-16.30 and Friday 07.30-13.30. There is also the option to work a 9 day fortnight pattern.
