Due to further investment/expansion we are currently looking for 8 Production Team Managers across both our Balmalcolm & Orkie sites.

Our

Production Team Manager

role reports directly to the Production Shift Manager and are responsible for a team of approx. 10-50 Process Workers in their production area (with the support of Supervisors, Machine Controllers, Machine Operatives and Production QAs).

To succeed in this role, we are looking for Production Team Manager candidates who will engage, motivate, and support in a positive way. People management is a major part of this role.

A strong, proven background in people management is essential. Production Team Managers take responsibility for developing their team including; training, coaching, performance and absence management, appraisals and ensuring you have a happy, engaged, motivated team.

Strong communication skills and the ability to prioritise and implement production plans to deliver targets are also essential.

Leading, motivating, and engaging with your team, building a positive working environment Managing your team's performance to meet targets Encouraging and highlighting progression and training opportunities Staff development, appraisals, reviews and other HR related areas Promote a respectful and inclusive environment Maintain effective relationships with other key teams across the business Effective cost management Risk assessments and Health and Food Safety Focus equally on production targets and the empowerment of your team

Hours of Work:

Every second weekend off along with a mix of shifts of days and back shifts - 07.00 14.00, 14.30 - 22.00 and longer days of 07.00 - 17.30

Salary; 32,000 - 36,000 per year, depending on experience. Paid Monthly.

This opportunity is based at our Balmalcolm site in Fife.
