What is the job role?
We are currently seeking a
Production Technician
to be responsible for producing equipment as required by the Production Supervisor andcarrying out workshop repairs and services on Gael Force Marine Technology equipment returned by customers.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
Carry out the manufacture of aquaculture products in accordance to build procedures.
Carry out repairs of returned equipment in accordance with the repairs procedure.
Carry out on going service work.
Carry out pre-installation and preparatory work in the aquaculture workshop.
To carry out field work as required.
Test manufactured products.
Assist in the diagnosis of faults on customer sites if required.
Assist in the training of production staff.
Adhere to company and customer Health and Safety policies and procedures.
Maintain clear, concise, and accurate records of product manufacturing.
Record and produce accurate timesheets and job sheets.
What youll need:
Essential:
HNC or extensive experience in relevant Engineering subject (Mechanical).
Excellent IT skills.
Desirable:
Valid UK driving licence.
Forklift Certificate.
Electrical experience/skills (incl. soldering).
What can you expect:
In return for working a 39-hour week, we are offering:
A salary between 13.50-14.50 per hour dependent on the experience and knowledge of the candidate.
