Job Type:

Full-time, permanent

Salary:

31,813 per annum, including night shift premium

Schedule:

12 hour shifts, working both days and nights 46 hours per week, Monday to Thursday Overtime available

The role:

We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to support our production team, working 12 hour shifts - day and nights, on a rotation pattern of a week of days, followed by a week of nights - with hours split across Monday to Thursday, meaning no weekend work is required. Also, there are regular overtime opportunities, if desired. The Production Technician, reporting to the Shift Manager, would be responsible for supporting & assisting the production team by ensuring finished product is palletised and wrapped to customer specifications, before storing pallets in our warehouse, whilst following health & safety processes and procedures. This role requires high attention to detail, ensuring labelling, palletisation & data recording is accurate and an individual who can use their initiative when working alone. This is an ideal opportunity for someone with a production or warehouse background looking to join a well-established company that is growing year on year.

Responsibilities will include:

Working in accordance with the company's health & safety and manufacturing practice Palletising finished cartons as per our customers' expectations Safely storing pallets of finished goods in our warehouse Ensuring data is accurately recorded on our management system Maintaining high standards in line with our quality accreditation Regular communication with the Team Leader and Shift Manager Supporting the warehouse function as and when required Take a full active part in all aspects of training

Essential Skills and Experience:

Ability to work alone and accurately record data Previous experience of working in a production or warehouse environment would be advantageous Excellent attention to detail
