Job Description

We are currently looking to recruit Production Technicians(Laminating Assistants) to join the team, on a 12- Month contract.

The Role

Reporting to the relevant Shift Leader, the successful candidate must show an ability to work effectively and efficiently within a team environment, be flexible and willing to learn and have a good appreciation of the quality standards required within the Company.

Candidates must be capable of working to meet productivity targets whilst ensuring products conform to specifications. The ability to prioritise and plan is vital.

Candidates must be willing to take part in efficiency and quality improvement programmes and previous experience of participating in SMED or 5S or lean manufacturing programmes will be beneficial.

The position will be on the Continuous rota 4 on 4 off - 12hour shifts, 7 days a week.

Experience

A basic knowledge of coating and laminating would be a distinct advantage although not essential as full training will be given.

Although Laminating Assistant will be the main function of this role you may be called upon to work in other areas of the production facility.

Skills required:

The ability to work safely and in a timely manner

Good Communication skills both verbal and written

IT Literate

Excellent attention to detail

Hours:

Working 12-hour shifts on a 4 on 4 off Continuous shift pattern.

Salary:

Salary 47,124.15 per annum

This role will be advertised both Internally and Externally.
