Summary

We are seeking a Production Technician Manager to join our team to work in conjunction with the Production Management team. You'll be crucial in diagnosing, repairs, and maintaining industrial machinery, ensuring smooth operation by performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting and collaborating with production teams to meet quality and efficiency targets while adhering to strict safety protocols. To handle both scheduled work and emergency repairs, often involving complex machinery, and document all work for reporting and continuous improvement.

Core Responsibilities

Perform preventive and routine maintenance procedures on various types of production machinery. Operate and monitor machinery to ensure optimal performance, making adjustments for quality and productivity. Following Standard Operating Procedures. Ensure all production personal are properly trained in safe working practices and emergency response protocols. Identify and resolve equipment malfunctions, production stoppages, and process deviations quickly to minimize downtime. Operate as back up and support team leaders when needed. Oversee scheduled set-ups and changeovers on assigned mechanical equipment. Ascertain and resolve operational malfunctions, failures, or defects in the production line. Oversee the planning and execution and delivery of projects ensuring they are completed on time and within budget. Ability to pay attention to detail and to pay close attention to the process control requirements. Assign tasks, monitor work quality to meet production and maintenance goals. Lead by example in promoting safe working practices within a productive work environment.

Qualifications

Experience with maintenance of mission critical production automation systems strongly preferred. 3-5 years of related mechanical experience. Journey level knowledge and demonstrated proficiency with Electro-mechanical systems. Minimum of 2 yrs experience in maintenance field required.

Strong understanding of industrial processes and equipment. Excellent technical, observational, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work well in a team and communicate effectively. Attention to detail, thoroughness, and ability to follow instructions. Flexibility, adaptability, and ability to work with hands. Knowledge of IT tools for data recording and reporting.
