We provide innovative test and measurement solutions to a broad range of industries, including automotive, manufacturing, aerospace, and renewable energy. Our Microbore Hose Production team plays a vital role in supporting our bespoke pressure testing systems, and we are looking for a dedicated Production Technician to join this growing area of the business.

Job Purpose:

As a Production Technician in the Microbore Hose Production area, you will be responsible for the accurate and efficient assembly, testing, and quality assurance of microbore hoses and related fittings. Working as part of a small team in a busy, fast moving department supplying core products. Your role is essential in ensuring the reliability and safety of pressure testing equipment used across a variety of demanding applications.

Key Responsibilities:

Assemble microbore hoses and fittings to detailed specifications and customer requirements. Assembly of different test kits incorporating multiple items Use crimping machines and precision tools to ensure high-quality assembly. Perform pressure testing and inspection of hoses to ensure they meet quality and safety standards. Maintain accurate records of production batches, serial numbers, and test results. Monitor stock levels of components and communicate requirements to the purchasing or warehouse team. Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with health and safety regulations and internal quality procedures. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the production area. Support wider production and engineering teams when required. General picking, packing and checking of customer orders for a wide variety of test fittings and equipment. Liaising with Goods In and Goods Out departments

Essential Skills & Experience:

Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment, ideally in hose assembly, pneumatics, or hydraulics. Good mechanical aptitude and attention to detail. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and assembly instructions. Familiarity with hand tools, crimping equipment, and pressure testing apparatus. Strong focus on quality, safety, and efficiency. Good written and verbal communication skills. Able to work independently as well as part of a team.

Desirable:

Experience working in a pressure testing or hydraulic environment. Knowledge of ISO 9001 quality systems.
