Key Responsibilities:
Receive, inspect, and unload incoming shipments, ensuring accuracy and quality.
Organize, store, and manage inventory in the warehouse.
Pick and pack orders for shipment, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries.
Operate warehouse equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet trucks, etc.) safely and efficiently.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols.
Assist with stocktaking and inventory control as required.
Collaborate with other staff to meet targets and deadlines.
Ensure proper documentation for incoming and outgoing shipments
Support additional duties as needed, including....
Machining of Sprockets: Operate lathe and keyway machines to machine sprockets and other components to precise specifications.
Belt Assembly: Assemble and prepare conveyor belts as required.
Key Requirements:
Previous experience in warehouse operations or a similar role is preferred.
Ability to lift and move heavy items
Experience with lathe operation and keyway machine work is a plus.
Basic knowledge of warehouse safety procedures and equipment.
Strong attention to detail and precision in machining tasks.
Excellent organizational skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong communication skills and a positive attitude.
Forklift License
A willingness to learn and adapt to new machinery and tasks.
