Production Operator - Bampton, Devon

Full-Time | Hands-On | High-Quality Assembly

Working Hours 7am - 3pm or 8am - 4pm Mon - Thur and 7am - 2pm or 8am - 3pm Fri.

Do you have a keen eye for detail and enjoy hands-on work? We're looking for a

Production Operator

to join our dedicated team at

Fraser Antistatic Techniques Ltd

in Bampton. You'll play a vital role in building, testing, and packing our market-leading static control products used in industries around the world.

What You'll Do:

Assemble high-quality electrical components using clear, written instructions Use tools such as

soldering irons, adhesives, rivet guns, drills, and tapping machines

Operate cutting, milling, and turning equipment (training provided) Test products throughout the process using

multi-meters and bespoke test gear

Carry out tasks under magnification when needed for precision Dispense resins (via machine or hand) and pack products carefully for shipment Work in a friendly, focused team environment with a daily production schedule

What We're Looking For:

Comfortable using

hand tools

with strong

hand-eye coordination

Able to

read and follow technical instructions

Confident with

soldering

and basic electrical measurements (voltage, current, resistance) Reliable, organised, safety-conscious, and a true team player Flexible and willing to learn new tasks as part of a supportive production team

Qualifications & Experience:

GCSE Grade C or above in

Maths, English, Physics, or General Science

ONC or City & Guilds

in an electrical or technical subject is a bonus Prior experience in a similar role or manufacturing environment is preferred Familiarity with

Lean Manufacturing

principles is advantageous
