We are seeking a professional and experienced nanny, who is dedicated, caring, reliable, and passionate. We have an opportunity for a nanny to support a lovely family in the Leigh-on-sea, Essex area, whom we have already built a wonderful relationship with.

This role will be to provide one-on-one care for a 1 year old, offering engaging and stimulating age appropriate activities that provide developmentally appropriate learning opportunities, to plan opportunities for exploration and connections in the outdoors in order to discover the world around them, provide nutritional meals and snacks, whilst working in partnership with the family to follow routines and expectations.

We are looking for the right candidate to work in partnership with Booking Childcare and the family to provide outstanding care where relationship, development and safeguarding is central.

Responsibilities:

The appointed candidate will work closely with Booking Childcare in order to provide outstanding care to the family. At the same time, the nanny will:

Be reliable and punctual Be professional and respectful at all times whilst developing wonderful relationships with the family Create safe, stimulating, creative age-appropriate environments, both indoors and outdoors, allowing the child to thieve, whilst planning engaging and stimulating opportunities for child development and socialisation Have a good understanding and practical approach to support speech and language development Ensure the safety and well-being of the child at all times Work in partnership with the family to follow daily routines Use initiative and provide expert support Prepare and serve nutritious meals and snacks Assist with light child-related housekeeping tasks and help maintain and keep the family home clean and tidy Work closely with Booking Childcare, following processes, policies and procedures

Requirements:

Passionate and a high standard of work ethic Use initiative and work in partnership Professional with warms and nurture Experience working with young children and families Fluency in spoken English Good communication skills A full, clean valid driver's license (a confident driver with over 2 years driving experience) Enhanced DBS Check (we can support you with this) Paediatric First Aid Certificate - Recognised by Ofsted (we can support you with this) Public Liability Insurance (we can support you with this) Excellent references To work in partnership with Booking Childcare, following processes and procedures

Work Location - In the family's home in Leigh-on-Sea, Essex Days - Tuesday, Wednesdays and Thursday Times - 07.45 - 18.15 - with plenty of ad hoc opportunities Start Date - November 2025 Contract Length - 1 years 14ph

Pay: 14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 31.5 per week
