Secondment Opportunity until 31 August 2026
Part time secondment opportunity for between 0.4 and 0.6FTE (2 to 3 days per week)
The Education Achievement Service is seeking to second a highly effective teacher to the post of Professional Learning Partner (Expressive Arts) to cover the maternity leave of the substantive post holder.
Working as part of the wider school improvement and professional learning team, the successful candidate will be responsible for helping raise standards of teaching and learning in schools, with a particular focus on expressive arts. Individual applicants will need to have a proven track record of excellent teaching in expressive arts which has led to improved standards, and of implementing effective strategies which have raised outcomes in expressive arts across the whole school. The successful applicant will be able to articulate approaches that lead to high quality learning for all pupils and provide well-crafted demonstration lessons and coaching in support of ensuring pupil progression. They will need to communicate a genuine desire to develop the practice of others, facilitate school to school collaboration and lead on initiatives supporting national priorities in education.

Please note, if you wish to pursue this secondment you must secure permission from your Governing Body/ Headteacher to be released from your school for the period of the secondment prior to applying, and this must be indicated in your completed application. At the end of the secondment period, the successful candidate will return to their school.
