IMMEDIATE START
Professional van driver required for a full-time position(35-45hrs per week) working out of our depot in Bellshill. This is a role which averages between 8-15 drops per day, throughout Scotland.
You will be required to start between 6am-7am Monday to Friday, with varying finishing times dependant on the day/work. (this can be somewhat flexible depending on your needs)
Someone with driving/delivery experience is essential: honesty &
reliability
are an absolute must.You must also be physically fit and strong as some of the items required to lift are fairly heavy.
Summary
As a Professional Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods while ensuring timely deliveries. Reporting to the Logistics Manager, your core driving skills will be essential in navigating various routes efficiently. Your premium expertise in commercial driving, combined with relevant experience in delivery driving will enhance our logistics team. Strong communication skills will ensure customer relations and fostering collaboration with team members. Responsibilities
Operate and drive commercial vehicles(vans) safely to deliver goods to designated locations. Ensure timely and accurate delivery while adhering to traffic regulations. Communicate effectively with warehouse staff and customers. Maintain accurate records of deliveries and report any issues encountered during transport.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: 12.60-13.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 - 50 per week
