Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our vibrant team. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional guest services, ensuring that each dining experience is memorable. You will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and providing assistance to guests while maintaining a friendly and professional atmosphere.

Duties

Greet and welcome guests in a warm and friendly manner. Take accurate food and drink orders using the restaurant's ordering system. Serve food and beverages promptly while ensuring presentation meets our standards. Assist guests with menu selections, including upselling specials and promotions. Ensure cleanliness of tables and dining areas throughout service. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery. Adhere to food safety regulations, maintaining hygiene standards at all times. Handle guest inquiries or complaints with professionalism and efficiency. Manage time effectively to ensure all tasks are completed during shifts.

Skills

Strong guest services skills, with the ability to create a welcoming environment for patrons. Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately. Knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary practices is advantageous. Understanding of food safety regulations to ensure compliance within the restaurant environment. Experience in a restaurant setting is preferred but not essential; training will be provided. Ability to upsell menu items effectively to enhance guest experience and increase sales. A helpful attitude towards both guests and team members, fostering a collaborative work atmosphere. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: 10.00-12.50 per hour
