Team/Role Overview
This is a dynamic product management role in the global organization requiring the individual to display a very good understanding of Digital Assets, Client needs, perform continuous market scans and work across multiple product, risk and compliance groups and geographies to deliver solutions that serve clients digital asset needs and help create the network of the future. While at the same time evaluate and engage various internal and external partners to augment core product offerings as required. The role also requires client engagement to drive commercial agendas and deepen Citi's understanding of client needs in this space.

Digital assets is a fast moving space where there is significant innovation and disruption requiring a forward looking and focused execution strategy. This role offers the unique experience of supporting the development of Citi's network of the future, supporting the development of the new products, network, and modernization.
What you will do:

• Lead digital token / stablecoin expansion projects across external blockchain networks, DeFi protocols, custodians, wallets, payment rails, and enterprise platforms.
• Manage integration efforts with strategic partners, including API development, smart contract deployment, settlement coordination, and regulatory alignment.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams including product, engineering, compliance, legal, and business development to execute projects on-time and on-budget.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, and stakeholder reporting for multiple concurrent initiatives.
• Responsible for the design, product development/enhancements and closing of product gaps involving co-ordination with global partners and in-country product teams across regions.
• Identify and mitigate project risks, issues, and bottlenecks across technical and operational domains.
• Track and ensure interoperability standards (e.g., ERC-20, Layer 2, cross-chain bridges, ISO 20022) are followed across integrations.
• Support the development and execution of the digital asset strategy.
• Continue to expand Citi's next generation of offerings including new feature functionality, controlled experiments and the development of Citi's network of the future
• Monitor market developments in blockchain infrastructure, stablecoin regulation, and real-time payment systems.
• Analyze product profitability, competition and positioning in the market and proactively drive initiatives to develop Citi's position
• Create executive-level briefs summarizing progress, KPIs, and ecosystem impact.
• Support Sales and Banking with client engagement opportunities aimed at both deepening Citi's relevance to the client segment while deepening the understanding of the needs of the segment
• Maintain an awareness of Citi's guardrails and narrative associated with Digital Assets
• Engage with Risk and Control and Compliance partners to assess risks and design processes, governance and controls that aim to mitigate the unique risks in digital assets

What we'll need from you:

• Bachelor's/University degree, Master's degree preferred
• Extensive related experience including cash management and payments product expertise
• Digital Assets domain expertise, technical experience, excellent communication skills, and senior stakeholder relationship management skills (internal and external).
• Experience in the Digital Assets/blockchain space is a distinct advantage
• Demonstrated experience in Product Management and/or Product Development discipline
• Required to think beyond existing solutions, assumptions or current knowledge of sophisticated areas
• Demonstrated ability to synthesize, prioritize and drive results with a sense of urgency, outstanding strategic, analytical, and critical thinking skills, and an ability to innovate and problem solve
• Strong leadership and team building skills, along with the ability to work closely and build trust with senior management and other partners
• Exceptional organization and process management ability
• Strong risk and control experience engaging with several second line functions
• Product development skills and a commercial acumen with a proven track record of successfully bringing products to market
• Excellent team working and interpersonal skills to influence and build consensus
• Ability to operate in a complex matrix environment
• Articulate, strong written and verbal communication skills
• Experience with and confidence in delivering presentations to clients and senior managers
