Amazon Transportation Services (ATS) is a rapidly growing, global operation unit, which significantly impacts the customer experience.
Within ATS, Amazon Freight Partner is a new program that enables entrepreneurs to start and grow their trucking business alongside Amazon, with exclusive and customized learning, ability to hire from their local communities, and long-term growth potential.
The Amazon Freight Partner (AFP) team is seeking candidates with entrepreneurial spirit who are quick learners and comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment.
We are looking for a Program Manager to help us continuously improve and optimize our internal AFP Communication process and go to market strategy, generating efficiencies through processes and metrics. You will work cross functionally to gain a global vision on how we operate today and how we can improve the way we operate, leveraging on data and existing or new technology products, innovating and detecting synergies and ways AFP can benefit from solutions already existing within other organizations and partners.
You will collaborate with regional teams to develop and execute strategic communications and go to market initiatives across multiple geographies. Working at the intersection of partner engagement and program & business operations, you'll help shape narratives that resonate with diverse audiences while maintaining Amazon's high standards for clear, impactful communication.
You will work in a cross functional environment with Operations, Program Development, Global Tech, Finance, Legal, Marketing, Operations, Carrier management, Network planning teams, and other organizations within Surface Transportations, to develop initiatives that will step change the way we operate.
We are actively seeking a strong communicator, problem solver, comfortable solving ambiguous problems and focused on delighting our customers. You must have experience and be comfortable working with teams across all levels of the organization on a global scale.
Key job responsibilities
As Communications Program Manager you will:

  • Develop and execute the go-to-market strategy for Amazon Freight Partners
  • Lead end-to-end communications and engagement campaigns
  • Work across the Amazon internal teams to define the engagement models om requirements and strategy to communicate with customers.
  • Communicate results regularly with internal stakeholders and teams to iterate on opportunities.
  • Handle complex, fast-moving, and unexpected communications challenges with high judgement
  • Craft compelling content, messaging, and communications plans
  • Work across program and product manager teams to develop and escale go-to-market initiatives for EU AFP program.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define, develop, and implement amazon to Partner communication strategies
  • Leverage data to drive decision-making, analyzing feedback and results to improve transparency on what our key input metrics are.
A day in the life
As Program Manager, you'll drive and manage the implementation of creative, data-driven change in Amazon, leading improvement projects and programs. You'll use strategic thinking to define and implement an efficient project plan.
Program Managers have significant responsibilities, and you'll deal with complex challenges with creativity, innovation, and leadership. With a responsibility extending beyond process improvements, you could also contribute to improving other areas of the business, like diversity, equity, and inclusion.

Amazon couldn't deliver at pace without the Amazon Transportation Service (ATS) team. As part of ATS, you'll be welcomed into a diverse team that plays a central role in our success. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQL
- Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams
- Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements
- Experience in program or project management
- Experience implementing repeatable processes and driving automation or standardization
- Experience defining and executing program requirements
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience in driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
- Experience leading process improvements
- Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization
- Experience building processes, project management, and schedules
