ROLE OVERVIEW




The Programmatic Account Executive is an exciting entry-level role into programmatic advertising and a key support role within our Programmatic team. Perfect for someone organised, analytical, and curious about digital marketing.


You'll work closely with a collaborative team of Account Executives, Account Managers, and Senior Account Managers, supporting the delivery of digital advertising campaigns for a wide range of clients. A key part of the role involves working with our global network of freelancers, the Croudie Network - briefing tasks, reviewing outputs, and ensuring everything meets our high standards.

RESPONSIBILITIES




Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Campaign Management



Setting up, launching, and managing programmatic display campaigns. Keeping an eye on campaign results to make sure we are on track to hit client goals and stay within budget. Learning to use industry-leading platforms such as DV360 and The Trade Desk to deliver campaigns. Developing a strong understanding of the digital and programmatic advertising landscape.

Data & Reporting



Helping the team analyse campaign data to spot trends, challenges, and successes. Gathering and checking data for client reports and helping to write clear summaries of performance. Identifying any unusual data patterns and working with the team to find and fix the cause. Helping to create internal case studies to share successful tests and results with the wider team.

Croudie Network & Internal Processes



Writing clear instructions (briefs) for tasks given to the Croudie Network and managing internal processes from start to finish. Checking work completed by our Croudie Network to ensure it is accurate and meets the required standard. Helping to train Croudies on client-specific needs and tasks. Completing daily administrative tasks, including keeping accurate records of your time.

Client Service & Team Support



Assisting the team with ad-hoc requests from clients or other teams within the agency. Learning and using the high standards of communication and service we provide to all clients. Understanding and working towards business goals like client satisfaction (NPS) and profitability. Working closely with your colleagues to support client retention and deliver great work.

PERSON SPECIFICATION



Strong verbal and written communication abilities in English While this position is open to all majors, a degree in subjects such as marketing, advertising, media and communications, or similar would be beneficial Confident working with data and numbers, with the ability to spot trends, inconsistencies, or unusual patterns Logical problem-solver who can investigate issues and work with others to resolve them Comfortable following processes and ensuring work meets defined quality standards Practical experience in digital marketing through previous work or internship experience in marketing, project management, or media is advantageous Demonstrated skills in teamwork and collaboration within a professional setting Effective time management and multitasking abilities, with the capacity to prioritise and manage multiple projects simultaneously Strong skills in Microsoft Office/Google Workspace, particularly Excel/Google Sheets, Word/Google Docs, and PowerPoint/Google Slides A strong interest in digital marketing including programmatic advertising and managing campaigns day-to-day

Standard hours are from 9.00am to 5.30pm, there's flexibility if agreed in advance with your line managers (it may also be necessary on occasions to work outside of these hours).
