This part-time (0.6 FTE) post is available from 1st December 2025 on a fixed-term basis until 30th November 2026.

This role offers the opportunity for hybrid working - some time on campus and some from home.

Summary of the role



The PGR Support Officer for the Professional Doctorates in Psychology contributes to the University of Exeter Doctoral College's mission to support world-class postgraduate researchers and enhance the PGR experience. Within the PGR Support Team, you help deliver high-quality support processes across all stages of the PGR lifecycle, from admissions and registration to induction, attendance monitoring, progression, and examination.

You work closely with academic colleagues, professional services, and students to ensure consistency, resilience, and excellence in administrative processes. Your role supports the operational implementation of University and Faculty priorities relating to the recruitment, retention, and development of high-quality PGRs. Through your organisational expertise, attention to detail, and excellent IT and customer service skills, you contribute to creating a high-quality experience for students, academics, and professional services staff alike.

We are currently seeking a highly skilled individual to join our PGR Support Team. The successful candidate will have recent relevant administrative experience, as well as excellent IT skills including proficiency in MS Office. They will contribute to delivering an exceptional level of customer service.
