Birkbeck celebrated its 200th year and student experience is key to our next century. As Programme Administrator, within the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, you will be part of a team supporting a diverse group of students and teaching staff in the delivery of academic programmes.
As Programme Administrator, you will work closely with academic staff, and other professional support staff, and will:
Support the delivery programmes of study, dealing effectively with college processes, systems and procedures.
Address student queries and concerns sympathetically and effectively, in all cases, following college policies and procedures to ensure a consistent and high-quality student experience.
Actively support student success and wellbeing, ensuring students have the resources and guidance they need.
Provide administrative support as well as supporting Faculty activities.
To be successful as a Programme Administrator, you will:
Be flexible and able to work independently and as part of a team on a variety of projects, using strong organisational skills.
Be able to work collaboratively and cultivate excellent working relationships.
Possess excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and experience of administration, preferably within an educational setting.
Be comfortable using a variety of electronic systems (e.g. Microsoft Office 365, Teams, SITS student records, Moodle etc), although training will be provided.
