Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic programme administrator to join the Institute for Sustainable Philanthropy (IFSP). This role focuses on managing relationships with our students and alumni, as well as assisting our research team with ongoing projects. The successful candidate will ensure that our courses run smoothly and that all participants and research partners have a good experience of working with us.

We use the same platform for course delivery as the major universities and thus you will learn how to use Canvas to create new courses, admit new students, coordinate assignment submissions and manage student relationships.

Responsibilities:



Managing administration for IFSP's educational courses and partnerships. Student registration and onboarding to the Canvas platform. Assisting in the set-up of new courses. Administration of pre-course and post-course questionnaires. Proofreading and quality controlling existing course materials. Overseeing the tutor team in the marking of assignments for educational courses. Handling student enquiries, course bookings, and ongoing support. Raising invoices and following up non-payment. Creating and distributing post-course Certificates and assisting in managing the LinkedIn alumni group. Assisting the research team with literature reviews and report/article preparation Assisting in the management of research partner relationships Collecting and entering research data for research projects, along with basic analysis Supporting the management team with financial administration, including liaison with Accountants for bookkeeping and VAT returns. Supporting the management team with the preparation of paperwork for our quarterly Board meetings. Handling staff expense claims and providing office administration support. Any other reasonable activities as determined by line management.

Person specification:



Strong proficiency in office software - Word, PowerPoint and Excel. Experience with Mailchimp would be an advantage. Strong attention to detail and excellent proofreading skills. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Experience in the non-profit or education sector is a plus. We are particularly interested in graduates with degrees in Psychology or Business, however this is not a requirement for this role.
