We have an exciting opportunity to join the team as a Programme Coordinator.
This role supports the delivery of Get River Positive (GRP) by providing administrative and organisational support internally, and by managing relationships with external stakeholders

What you\xe2\x80\x99ll be doing:

  • Ensuring the effective planning and execution of meetings, making sure they are diarised in good time, with the right invitees, agenda and meeting papers in place and follow up actions taken forward
  • Track actions with action owners (both internal and external partners)
  • Take minutes for the GRP River Health Panel
  • Managing incoming communications and respond accordingly, working with the GRP team and Executive Assistant to the Director of Quality and Environment as required
  • Supporting the GRP Communications and Engagement Manager as necessary.
  • Work alongside the internal PR/Comms team to generate press releases and communications around the projects funded through GRP.
  • Develop reporting measures and analytics to show success of the programme both across media and stakeholder sentiment.
  • Attend site meetings where necessary to support the wider engagement and management of community groups and stakeholders interested in environmental quality.
  • Help provide information to support with responses to media enquiries.
What does it take to be successful?
  • Proven experience of undertaking administrative duties in a similar role
  • Bright, articulate, and inquiring mind with a keen interest in the environment and biodiversity
  • Ability to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced, pressurised environment to tight deadlines and prioritise where necessary
  • Diligent approach to process work systems with strong attention to detail
  • Experience of the water industry is desirable
  • Proven experience of writing for an external audience, including the media
