About the role

As owners of Wales and England\'s electricity transmission network we are responsible for the decarbonisation of the energy system. This is and in order to make it happen we need to successfully deliver a portfolio of new, green, infrastructure projects.

As Programme Director for Major Projects, you\'ll have overall responsibility for the development and delivery of our portfolio of strategically critical, high value, complex projects relating to network control. This portfolio will be critical to the transformation of our network, ready for net zero. Ideally, you\'ll have broad knowledge of the UK electricity industry or experience in a complex regulatory environment.

Evidence of a good understanding of financial management, benefits management and realisation linked to business result is essential and you\'ll have the ability to effectively work with senior stakeholders, actively driving communication and engagement to find solutions.

You will also have the ability to zoom out and implement big picture thinking, including the ability to successfully manage multiple activities and issues to set deadlines, delivering high quality work under pressure and on time.
